About Guardian
Built by security professionals, for people who value permanence
Guardian was founded with a single conviction: the best private vault storage in Australia shouldn't require a $10M minimum or a board connection. It should be accessible, transparent, and excellent.
Our Story
Guardian Precious Asset Storage was founded in 2019 by a team of former security professionals and private bankers who saw a gap in the Australian market. The existing options were either expensive, opaque, or stuck in the 1980s — phone calls, paper forms, and zero visibility into your own holdings.
We built Guardian around three principles held non-negotiable: uncompromising physical security, complete transparency, and genuine service. Every client gets a named account manager — not a ticket number. Every asset gets a vault certificate — not a pooled claim.
Today Guardian protects over A$2.4 billion in precious assets for more than 15,000 clients across Australia — from first-time gold buyers to family offices managing intergenerational wealth. Our facilities in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane meet the same standards as central bank vaults, certified to UL Class III and independently audited annually.
