Getting Started
Click 'Open Your Account' on our website. Complete the online registration form (email, password, personal details), upload a government-issued ID, and complete our facial verification. The whole process takes under 5 minutes. Your account is activated within 2 business hours of identity verification.
We accept Australian passports, Australian driver's licences (all states), and Medicare cards for secondary verification. Our KYC process is AUSTRAC-compliant and is completed entirely online — no need to visit a branch.
Yes. Our Starter plan requires a minimum declared asset value of A$5,000. Standard starts at A$50,000. Premier is designed for holdings of A$1,000,000 and above. Contact our team if you're unsure which plan suits you.
Yes. Guardian accepts applications from individuals, companies, trusts, and self-managed super funds (SMSFs). Additional documentation is required for entities. Contact our team to discuss your structure.
Security & Facilities
Our vaults are rated UL Class III — the highest civilian vault rating in the world. This certification is independently verified and requires both the vault door and walls to meet the most demanding physical penetration resistance standards.
Absolutely. We offer a private viewing suite at each facility. Book an appointment through your client portal, and we'll arrange secure access during business hours. Appointments are typically available within 24–48 hours.
Our insurance policy, underwritten by Lloyd's of London, covers the full replacement value of all stored assets against theft, fire, flood, and natural disaster. In the event of any incident, clients are notified immediately and claims are processed directly through our dedicated insurance team.
Storage & Deposits
You can drop off assets in person at any of our Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane facilities. Alternatively, use our nationally available insured courier pickup service. All deposits are photographed, weighed, catalogued, and confirmed within 24 hours of receipt.
Yes, always. Guardian provides 100% allocated, segregated storage. Your assets are never pooled with those of other clients. You receive a vault certificate confirming your specific holdings, held exclusively under your name.
We accept gold, silver, platinum, palladium, jewellery, diamonds and gemstones, rare coins and collectibles, title deeds and legal documents, and other high-value items. Contact us if you have a specific item you'd like to discuss.
Client Portal & Technology
Your portal shows a real-time inventory of all stored assets, estimated market values in AUD, vault certificates, audit reports, deposit and withdrawal history, document uploads, and a direct messaging channel to your account manager.
Yes. Guardian's client portal is fully responsive and works on all devices. A dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android is currently in development.
All Standard and Premier clients are assigned a named account manager. You can message them directly through your portal at any time. Messages are typically answered within business hours, with urgent matters escalated immediately. Visitor enquiries are handled via our public live chat widget.
Pricing & Billing
The storage fee is calculated as a percentage of your declared asset value per annum, billed monthly. For example, on the Standard plan at 0.45% p.a., storing A$500,000 in assets costs approximately A$187.50 per month in storage fees, plus the A$79 monthly administration fee.
No. Guardian's pricing is fully transparent. The only fees are the monthly administration fee and the storage rate percentage. There are no setup fees, exit fees, or fees for portal access, audit reports, or standard vault certificates.
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts. Submit a withdrawal request through your portal at any time. Once your assets are collected or delivered, billing stops on that date. We do not charge early termination fees.
